Here you will find second hand and antiquarian books on just about every topic as well as new books by Wigtown's many small publishers including books on smuggling and local history. From classic children's books and old favourites to first edition collectibles, there is bound to be something for everyone. The literary festivals offer the visitor talks and book signings by some great names. Past visitors include Kate Adie and Katie Morag, Martin Bell and George Galloway, well loved Scottish cookery writer Clare MacDonald and fiction writer Andrew Greig.
