JUST A FEW OF THE COMMENTS IN OUR VISITORS BOOK FOR 2008:

"Very tranquil; loved the views. A perfect place to escape the "hustle and bustle" of life. Look out for the red deer in field beyond and woodcock roving at night."

"Just what is needed to recharge the batteries! Very comfortable, peaceful and excellent surroundings. Best bits were log fire and sitting at benches eating and sipping wine."

"Splendid setting, wonderful cottage. We were glad of the fire during a traditional Scottish August."

"A very relaxing couple of days, outstanding views to match' Yorkshire'!
Well equipped and clean cottage. Will return....."

"Wonderful cottage - thoughtful and tasteful - best we have stayed in !
Hope to return next year. Many thanks"

"Our favourite part of Scotland so far. Loved the fires while playing
backgammon, the historic stonehouse, the cows! Tea rooms & local pubs & stone
circles in the area. We will miss this wonderful place."
