Although Carsebuie is a traditional cottage and has not been specifically
adapted, the ground
floor bedroom and walk in shower is ideal for disabled
visitors and those with reduced mobility.

Carsebuie is an enchanting country
cottage that quickly has you hooked. The views take in the surrounding
farmland
and distant hills beyond. The birdsong
is a delight, as are the red squirrels that frequent the
rambling garden divided by rustic fences and moss covered stone
walls. There is colour nearly all year round,
and plenty to do for all ages.
Pop into the village shop for newspapers and some provisions, or take a
brisk stroll up the gentle hills
surrounding the
cottage. You are far enough away to have total seclusion yet near
enough to a town.
Nearby Newton Stewart offers a leisure centre
with gym and swimming pool, a tennis court, a cinema,
a delicatessen, numerous cafes,
three banks, various restaurants serving quality local produce as well as
a
Chinese and an Indian restaurant. There are 3 small supermarkets and a range of outdoor
activities clothing
and equipment shops, a chemists, a vet and a health
centre.
Sandy beaches can be found from less than 30 mins drive at Sandhead, Garlieston, Luce Bay and Port William.
Mountain biking in the area includes Kirroughtree, and
the famous 7 stanes ' over 400km of trails, spread across
7 trail centres
from Glentress to Glentrool, . . . aimed at all levels of mountain bikers
from families to experts'.
The 7Stanes achieved world-class status in only 6
years.
Fly fishing permits available on various nearby Lochs
and rivers, sea fishing trips from Cairnryan, Stranraer and
Port Patrick.
Day boat trips also available.
Come and enjoy outdoor pursuits: horse riding, golfing,
shooting, fishing, off road and tank driving, hill walking,
mountain biking,
sailing, wind surfing, and nature watching.
